Swanky Pooch Photo Contest

Congratulations to the winners of The Swanky Pooch
photo contest! We had a great time looking at
the pictures of all your cute pooches. We
received so many great pictures that it was hard to
make a decision, but we finally narrowed it down to
three winners, plus a couple runners up. Thank
you for submitting your photos!
First Place Winner - Sarah Prince
First place goes to Cami and Toby, two Chi-Yorkies
owned by Sarah Prince.
"This picture was taken
as the two of them were
running around on a cool weather day. They ran over to my sister and
started to play fight; they looked as if Toby just cracked a joke and Cami was telling him to shut up."
- Sarah

Second Place Winner - Megan Losher
Second place goes to Bootsy, a Golden
Retriever/Cocker Spaniel mix owned by Megan Losher.
"Bootsy is a half golden retriever and cocker
spaniel mix we rescued from the Mason County Animal
shelter in Illinois. She is six months old and loves
to play and have her tummy scratched. Bootsy loves
her tennis ball and carries the ball around where
ever she goes. The funniest thing is when you
through the ball Bootsy will do a flip mid air to
catch it and jump over almost anything to get the
ball. Bootsy can even do double flips and stand on
her back legs for minutes at a time to get the ball.
I am not sure how good Bootsy would be at tennis but
I am sure she could make Wimbledon." - Megan

Third Place Winner - Mary Rich
Third place goes to Smeagle, owned by Mary Rich.
"Smeagle loves to pose for the camera, he enjoys
eating vegetables...especially carrots. You can often
find him prairie dogging for treats, and when he
wants your attention. Part of Smeagle's daily
activities include chasing me up the stairs when
it's bedtime, sitting like a prairie dog begging for
food during dinner time, and sleeps like a baby from
10pm-8am thru out the night. He doesn't like to
share his toys, and often will tease you by
pretending to let you have the ball, only to clasp
his front paws around your arm if you dare to go for
it. He loves constant attention, and will always
find something to escape with thru his doggie door.
Smeagle is now 1 yr and 4 months old, and we
absolutely love him.
"After a long nap, Smeagle wakes up to stretch out
his long little body." - Mary
